If you are not fortunate enough to have a large wardrobe such as fitted wardrobes then it is essential to keep your wardrobe organized.

Life in general can be easier if you Organize you wardrobe better.
Consider a open plan walk-in wardrobe system or closet which will give you on average 20% more hanging area.
If you only have a small area to store your clothes in your wardrobe, the best thing to do is to put seasonal clothes and items aside.
During the hot summer months you should put your winter clothes somewhere else (since you will not be needing them often) and the same good for winter.
If you have a garage or cellar, these can be ideal cloths storage places, take a look elsewhere in your home like under your beds.
Storage containers are a popular choice for storing items under your bed which is space people do not normally use.
You can swap the cloths around when the weather or season changes.
You will find some storage boxes will not slot under your bed, depending on the size.

Make a list of your clothes and accessories and purchase a walk in wardrobe system or wardrobe organiser which will more be suitable for your storage needs.
If you have other clothes which require hanging space, you will need to think on hanging rails or if most of your clothes can be folded neatly and packed away then you should consider purchasing shelving instead.
This can drastically reduce the amount of storage space you need for daily dressing clothes items in your wardrobe.
If you require space for storing valuables and other personal things, you could think about putting a floating shelf up high above the doorway that would be the ideal spot to hide items from children.
Having the ability to stack your shoes with a hanging shoe rack is very in vogue, especially for wardrobes with long run hanging robe rails.
There are also space saving clothes hangers that you can purchase that allows you to hang more than one pair of trousers or skirts.
Drop down tie hangers are a great and easy way for accessing your array of ties and belts quickly.

You might want to try color coordinating their things. Keeping toys in bins that they can reach is a step toward getting them to keep them neat. There are even wooden bin holders… like for classrooms that you can buy. You could even buy matching (color-wise) hangers for their clothes. I liked putting my children’s dressers inside their closets. If there is room to do so, it frees up a lot of floor space in the bedroom. While they are little, having a double (one above the other) set of hanging rods is very helpful. There are many closet "systems" out there… like California Closets. You might look at their web sites and get some ideas.
